DESIGNER: Lars Bergquist
"Corsiva Italica is a classic cancellerescha corsiva, done as it was written in the 16th century. So it is semi-connected: letters join up when there are joining swashes, but bowls and initial ascenders do not have them. "The real model is by Giambattista Palatino. It was originally intended as the italic for a Renaissance-style roman, but I found that this needed a more subdued companion, so I restored deleted script features, such as the joined letters."
