THE TYPE QUARRY

Probably we looked too closely, inspected too narrowly, ignored the broader view. But however it happened, we got all caught up in the pointy briars and serifs of modern typography—the shapes, the curves, the letterforms. As a consequence, Three Islands Press spun off a little digital foundry, and type sales and development consume a good chunk of time around here. In fact, 3IP's typefaces have managed quite a little following.

Although we've agreed to a couple partnerships with established type distributors, you'll still be able to order type directly from the Quarry—including Type Quarry Exclusives. You'll find all the old standards here, along with new faces—which we hope to release with moderate regularity. We've added new designers, and clip art and images are soon to come.
